About Us

Our Mission

is to provide a natural alternative for your ultimate health and wellness by utilizing chiropractic care and rehabilitative methods.

Our Philosophy

is to offer friendly, personalized quality health care unique to each individual’s needs. We enjoy working with you on your journey to better health!

As a doctor and a member of our community I am closely involved with my patients and their families. I chose to support our local breast cancer chapter, The Network of Hope, because it directly assists women in our state who are dealing with breast cancer. Please help us in our fight to cure cancer! Ask how you can make a difference!

One of my closest friends, several of my patients and people involved in our community are devastated by this disease and I want to make a difference. We will be hosting an annual fundraiser and I will do the Atlanta 2-day walk for breast cancer as long as I am able to walk! Click here for pictures from our May 2008 fundraiser.

Testimonials

On February 5th, 2010, I was in a car wreck. At the time I wasn’t hurting, but the next day I was in a lot of pain. So, I called a couple of chiropractors and the earliest I could be seen was 5 days later. I couldn’t wait, so I called Lake Pointe and they told me to come in right away…so I did. From the first moment there, I knew I was in the right place. I could tell that they really cared about me. They listen to all of my problems, and they took time to make sure that they got it right. And they did. At one point in time, I was thinking of changing my occupation because of the pain. Now, I’m pain free and feel great THANKS to the people at Lake Pointe. Everyone there took very good care of me.

If you are viewing this, you may be contemplating receiving chiropractic care at Lake Pointe Chiropractic in Acworth. If you are, I have some great news for you.

Approximately two and a half years ago I was injured at work while lifting some heavy weight without assistance. While holding the weight, I turned and felt a muscle pull in the area under my right shoulder blade. With no major discomfort, I continued to work that evening. Early the next morning I awoke with terrible pain in the area of the pull and a prickly numbness down my right arm, continuing into my hand and then into my little finger and outside half of my ring finger. I had lost about half of the strength in that hand. My company sent me to orthopedic doctors and sport therapy centers getting x-rays and an MRI. Therapy helped me regain the strength in the hand, but all efforts to regain normal feeling to it failed. I was unable to determine if the outside of my hand was resting on cloth, tile, wood, skin, hot or cold. I would have subsequent cramps and frequent pain spikes as well. I was finally told that nothing more could be done because the Ulna nerve (funny bone) must have died and would probably not be recoverable. I resigned myself to that fact.

Six weeks ago I began to have sciatic pain in my left hip and pain in my right shoulder. I live near Lake Pointe and needed to address the problem because my job requires a great deal of walking. I explained my problem to Dr. Schreibman during my initial evaluation and she then asked me if I had any other issues. When I told her about my hand, she asked me if she could tackle all of my ailments, as she felt my older problem was not hopeless. I agreed, and after three visits for adjustments and massage, my hip and shoulder were back to normal and I had almost all the feeling back in my hand. At this writing, I am anxiously awaiting my next visit to tell her that within two days of my last visit, ALL of the feeling had returned to my hand and arm! Hopeless is not in her vocabulary.

I walk most proud knowing Dr. Schreibman, and you will too.

Thank you.
R.M., Acworth

I have been a patient of Dr. Deb for approximately 3 years. I have always been bothered by soreness in my neck and shoulders (I guess it is the stressful life we lead). She treated me with adjustments and massage and it did help me to feel better. Recently my left shoulder began to bother me to the point that it was painful to even reach for something on my desk. I also experienced tingling in my arms. She tried ultrasound on my shoulder and it did help a little. When she got the decompression table she felt I might be a good candidate for that. One thing about Dr. Deb -- she will never give up on you! I signed on for the decompression treatments and am happy to report that after six treatments my shoulder is doing great. I don't really know what would have happened without decompression, but I know what happened with it. Thanks, Dr. Deb for not giving up!

I would also like to say that at Lake Pointe Chiropractic you are treated like family. Dr. Deb, Gail, Lisa and Amanda are wonderful and I am so glad to know them.

Thanks again to all!

Dr. Deb! I have an awesome, awesome, awesome success story by the way!

Dad and I went to Myrtle Beach for the weekend, and although I haven't been exercising I have lost quite a bit of weight, so we went for a walk on the beach.

Normally beach walks don't last very long, because I'm in uneven sand, and my back and my knees hurt pretty quickly. Usually 20 min., and I'm done.

This time, however, I made it 70 min., and didn't even notice! Not only that, after the walk, we went back to the condo, changed, and then went walking around shopping and sightseeing the rest of the day! Not once did I have a twinge in my back, my knees or hips, my head, nothing!

It was a very good day:)

Thank you Dr. Deb!
