No more backaches? Addressing a gathering of Paulding County business leaders at a meeting of BNI’s Crossroads Connection chapter, Lake Pointe Chiropractic’s Dr. Debra Schreibman shared the benefits of Dynapro’s spinal decompression table. The table is an innovative tool being used by more and more chiropractors across the United States. According to Schreibman (a respected Acworth chiropractor and licensed neuromuscular therapist), the decompression table allows chiropractors to target only those vertebrae in need of treatment.
“Most traditional methods of spinal treatment involve ‘aligning’ healthy vertebrae as well
as those that are injured or misaligned,” Schreibman told the gathering. “The benefit of new decompression technology is that we (chiropractors) can now specifically target only the areas in need of medical attention, without running the risk of injuring an already healthy section of the spine.”
According to Schreibman, many patients can benefit from spinal decompression therapy. “For many patients it proves more effective than other methods of treatment. When coupled with a prescribed exercise/rehabilitation program and good nutrition, decompression therapy can often be the first step in relieving and totally eliminating chronic back pain.”
